Tanzania 6 Night - 7 Day safari
Day 1: Arrival at Tanzania
There is no activity scheduled for the first day. You would be picked up from the airport and then taken for the night stay at a hotel in Arusha.
Day 2: Marching to Tarangire National Park
The day would begin early as you would be picked from the hotel at Arusha. Then we would be heading for the Tarangire National Park. The 150 km ride would be smooth and enjoyable. The park is very famous and has a diverse landscape. You would find ancient and gigantic Baobab trees here. There would be a picnic lunch in the park. The park gets its name from the Tarangire river flowing through it. You would definitely spot elephants at the park. There mighe be possible sighings of lions, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras and giraffes. Following the game drive, there would be an amazing dinner waiting for you.
Day 3: A journey to Serengeti
The day would begin with a nice breakfast. After that, we would be moving towards the most acclaimed national park in the park - the Serengeti National Park. We would be passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area - which is the most ecologically diverse place here. There is also an option for a Masai village tour or the Olduvai Gorge. the journey would take 4 hours if you do not decide to go for a detour. We would reach Serengeti at late noon where you would have picnic lunch and experience the game drive. You would have a good night's rest at a nice hotel.
Day 4: The beauty of the Serengeti
The fourth day would involve a full day game drive at the Serengeti National Park. You might have the chance of seeing a predator chasing their prey and making the kill. The Serengeti is unparalleled for the scenic beauty and its position as a diverse ecosystem. The game drive would take you through the endless plains of the Serengeti. You might witness the large herds of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles. You might even pass by a pride of lions in the area.
Day 5: Moving to the Ngorongoro Crater
After you have a nice breakfast, you would go for an early morning game viewing at the Serengeti. You would find the grasslands extending up to the horizon. The Serengeti is one of the national parks where you can spot the Big Five. After the morning drive, we would have a nice lunch and move to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The eventful day would end with an amazing dinner and a nice rest at the hotel.
Day 6: Moving from the Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, we would descend to the crater at around 9 in the morning. It is the largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera in the world. There is a massive floor of about 260 sq km and a depth of about 2000 ft. The game drive would show a lot of animals in action, especially the herivores. After the game drive, you would be awaiting a grand dinner at night.
Day 7: The final day
The day would begin with a breakfast game drive at 8. There would be lush forests of Mahogany and Acacia. The drive would continue till afternoon. One of the spectacles are the lions which can climb trees here. We would head back to Arusha and drop you at your preferred location.
