Days Big Five Safari
Africa is famous for
its wildlife. But there are some among those which seem more attractive to
tourists for game viewing. The Big Five is probably the most preferred animals
during an African safari. The following safari itinerary is totally dedicated
to viewing the Big Five, among other wildlife.
Day 1: A journey to Ol Pejeta
You would leave Nairobi
in the morning and move to Ol-Pejeta. As soon as you are done with your lunch,
you would move out for an afternoon game drive. The overnight stay and dinner
would be arranged at a soothing hotel. The comfort at the hotel will help you
to be refreshed for another adventure the next day.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
The next morning you
would leave the camp early. You will get to enjoy a morning safari even before
breakfast. This would help you to spot the nocturnal animals and the cats
before they go to their dens. After this amazing adventure, you would return to
the camp for breakfast. After you have your lunch, you would have another game
drive and a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary. You can spot some rare species
from northern Kenya like Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and beisa oryx. You would be spending the night at
the same hotel.

Day 3: Moving onto Lake Nakuru
Our journey would take
us to the Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley on the 3rd day of
the safari. An exciting game viewing has been planned for the afternoon
session. This park offers amazing bird watching, especially flamingos. Even the
most reluctant would be greatly mesmerised by the amazing environment of this
place.

Day 4: The Maasai Mara
After having breakfast
at the camp, you would head for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will enjoy an
evening game drive at the national park. The amazing Maasai culture and the
abundant wildlife attracts tourists from all the world over. The views from the
lodge would be amazing. Dinner and stay would be arranged at the Lodge.

Days 5 and 6: A nice tour of the Maasai Mara
The 5th day would
include a full-day game drive and an amazing adventure. You will be able to
spot amazing wildlife at the game reserve. If you are at the right season, you
might even get to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. A lot of animals
would be seen in the Maasai Mara, along with the Big Five. You would dine and
stay at the Maasai Mara Lodge these days.

Day 7: Return to your Nairobi and regular life
You would have an early
game drive in the morning as well as breakfast before departing for Nairobi.
When you reach Nairobi in the afternoon, you would be dropped at the airport or
at the hotel in Nairobi according to your requirements.
This entire safari would be filled with adventures and take you right to the lap of nature. It is one of the best itineraries to take a glimpse of the wildlife of Kenya.
